Dance Academy Sevenoaks was established by ex professional dancer Margie Rice in 2008 and superseded by Emily Teale in 2020.  The dance academy offers a wide variety of classes for all ages and abilities. Classes are taught in various locations in Sevenoaks.

The dance spaces used are bright and airy and each studio has ample free parking facilities. Dance styles taught include RAD ballet, musical theatre, street dance, contemporary, ISTD tap and modern theatre dance. ”da” also provides a range of school holiday workshops, private coaching and dance parties, alongside our examinations syllabus and show work. Our aim is to provide first class teaching in order to inspire every student at "da" with a passion for dance. With dedicated staff we hope to motivate all pupils in a safe and friendly environment to achieve their potential. The younger children are nurtured and encouraged to develop their creativity and confidence through the wide variety of classes we have on offer.

Whatever your age or level of experience, anyone with an appreciation of dance is able to join the "da". Whether you have already taken classes and want to develop your technique and skills further, or whether you are completely new to dance and are looking for a fun way to get fit, then “da” has the class to suit you.

Nina Harris

I have a huge passion for creativity and performing and have been dancing since the age of two and a half!

I then went on to complete my three years professional Musical Theatre Training at MEPA and Reynolds Training Academy graduating with a diploma in 2017. To further my training I have recently completed a Creative Practitioner BA Hons degree with Italia Conti.

I absolutely adore all things Performing Arts and love sharing my knowledge and experience by teaching Dance and Musical Theatre to all of my wonderful students. I have been teaching and performing for the past seven years and some of my performing credits include: Dance captain for Siblu parks, Glam dancer on AIDA Cruises and Dancer/Character performer for The Warner Bros. The Polar Express immersive train ride. I am so excited to share my passion for performing with all of my DA students.
